20 Best Small Wedding Venues in Washington
1. A National Park (Olympic, Rainier, or North Cascades)

Not every โvenueโ comes with four walls, and in Washington, that couldnโt be more true.
Yes, you can get married in a national park. In fact, if you’re planning a small wedding, I highly recommend it. Not only do you get some of the most beautiful scenery in the state, but you can do it at a fraction of the cost of a traditional venue.
That said, ceremonies in national parks do come with a few extra rules, like permit requirements, limited guest counts at certain locations, and restrictions on decor. But if youโre looking for something simple and completely jaw-dropping, getting married in a national park is hard to beat.
Pro tip: You can also get married in state parks and national forests, which often have fewer restrictions and are just as beautiful.
- Guides:
- Pricing: $0-$275
- Max capacity: 50 people (some national parks can accommodate more)
2. Treehouse Point

Treehouse Point is definitely one of the most unique small wedding venues in Washington State, and not to mention a personal favorite. I mean seriously, who wouldn’t want to get married in a literal treehouse?
There are so many things to love. First, it’s only 30 minutes from Seattle so it’s perfect for guests who are flying in. Second, you barely need to do any decorating as the space is gorgeous as is. It also helps that the venue includes tables and chairs (score!). Third, you can buyout the entire property for you and your guests if you’re looking to celebrate over the entire weekend.
- Location: Issaquah
- Website: Treehouse Point
- Pricing: Starting at $6,000 and goes up to $31,660
- Max capacity: 80 people
3. Anker

Anker, formerly known as Kingston House, is a fan-favorite venue in Washington, and for good reason!
This is one of the few small wedding venues in Washington that doesn’t allow single-day events, but instead requires a 2-night stay for you and your guests. And trust me on this one: the pricing is incredible.
This wedding venue is on 27 acres of land in the and has a plethora of different scenery to explore from a lavender farm and maple grove to multiple trails and cedar hot tubs in the trees.
I’ve got to be honest here; if I were getting married all over again, Anker would be the top venue on my list.
- Location: Kingston
- Website: Anker
- Pricing: Starting at $4,000 and goes up to $13,000
- Max capacity: 100 people
4. Wellspring Spa

I photographed my first small wedding at Wellspring Spa this past summer and was immediately hooked.
This wedding venue screams summer camp in every possible way. It’s located right at the base of Mt. Rainier which already in itself is a huge perk. The actual grounds are gorgeous with flower and food gardens, walking trails, and tons of cute cabins for you and your guests to stay in. There’s also a stunning ceremony site in the trees as well as a bridal cottage on top of the hill.
For couples wanting to spend the weekend with those they love at the base of one of the greatest national parks in the world, you just found your venue.
- Location: Ashford
- Website: Wellspring Spa
- Pricing: Unsure
- Max capacity: 200 people (40 if staying overnight)
5. Agate Beach Lodge

For all the beach lovers out there, I think Agate Beach Lodge in Port Angeles is going to blow you away!
Located on over 30 acres, this small wedding venue is located on a private beach where the forest meets the sea and is just minutes away from Olympic National Park. There is a 2-night minimum stay required that can accommodate 11 guests overnight.
The venue is very flexible when it comes to decor and comes with quite a few amenities. The only thing to note is that you do have to hire a wedding coordinator in order to get married here.

6. The Emerald Forest

The Emerald Forest truly is one of its kind. So much so that it was featured on an episode of Treehouse Masters.
This wedding venue was made for small weddings. They don’t allow any events over 35 people but include everything you’d need for a wedding from tables and chairs all the way down to fire pits for s’mores and hot dogs. There’s seriously not a detail that goes unnoticed here.
This is the venue for forest ceremonies. You can choose from several different locations including a mossy forest trail, stage, yurt, and more, all located in the forest.
- Location: Redmond
- Website: The Emerald Forest
- Pricing: Starting at $4,599 and goes up to $5,299

7. Evermore Haven

Evermore Haven is the newest small wedding venue in Washington, opening in 2026.
You’ve probably seen Fern Acres listed as a wedding venue on many of these lists, but the owners retired back in 2025. The wedding coordinator who previously worked at Fern Acres opened up her own venue, and thus, Evermore Haven was born.
This venue is very similar to Fern Acres which is good news to all the Twilight fans out there, as you can book a Twilight-inspired wedding package with a very similar setup as to what was featured in the movie. With over 12 acres to explore, it’s safe to say you’ll never run out of forest spots for your movie remake.

8. Alpine Lakes High Camp

Alpine Lakes High Camp is a wedding venue for true adventure-seeking, summer-camp inspired weddings in Washington.
Located in the mountains of Leavenworth, this small Washington wedding venue requires a high-clearance shuttle provided by the venue to reach. This wedding venue is completely off-grid, boasting 9 cabins for the weekend (3 night stay required), over 400,000 acres to explore, and outhouses for bathrooms.
This really is the kind of venue for couples who want to go all-in with the summer camp theme, want to be completely off-grid, and want something unlike any other traditional wedding venue you can find.
- Location: Leavenworth
- Website: Alpine Lakes High Camp
- Pricing: Starting at $13,915
- Max capacity: 60 people (49 if staying overnight)
9. Bella Luna Farms

If Martha Stewart had a wedding venue, it would be Bella Luna Farms.
The gardens and food are immaculate, and being on an actual farm, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the locals (the goats, of course). There are a few different areas for ceremonies and dinners, one of my personal favorites being the indoor space which not only has tons of natural light, but the top is covered in cascading vines.
For a wedding venue that looks like it was taken straight out of a magazine, Bella Luna Farms is going to be hard to beat.
- Location: Snohomish
- Website: Bella Luna Farms
- Pricing: Starting at $8,500
- Max capacity: 150 people
10. Wayfarer

Wayfarer in Whidbey Island is a 100+ year old farm with all the bells and whistles: orchards, barns, and a short distance away from the Puget Sound.
This wedding venue is definitely one of the more rustic ones on this list and is a little dated in terms of indoor spaces, but it’s a great affordable option for couples who want to get married on one of the most beautiful islands in the Washington area.
The owners of the venue also own another called Crockett Farm which is also located on Whidbey Island and has gorgeous water views from the ceremony space.
- Location: Whidbey Island
- Website: Wayfarer
- Pricing: Starting at $6,500
- Max capacity: 100 people
11. Woodinville Lavender

It would be criminal of me to not include a lavender farm on this list. After all, it’s one of the things the state is known for!
Woodinville Lavender is the perfect small wedding venue in Washington for couples who not only want a gorgeous view, but one that smells good as well. The grounds are kept very well manicured and the price includes everything from a day-of coordinator to a credit you can use at the farm to purchase some lavender as a keepsake.
On top of that, you’ll also have access to a greenhouse, an arbor, and complete freedom to choose your own decor and vendors.
- Location: Redmond
- Website: Woodinville Lavender
- Pricing: $15,000
- Max capacity: 50 people
12. Captain Whidbey

If you have the budget for it and really want to wow your guests, Captain Whidbey is definitely a head-turner.
Like other wedding venues on this list, this one definitely leans hard into the summer camp theme. A weekend buyout is required for the wedding. The actual space is home to multiple different cabins, a lodge, private lagoon, hiking trails, water access, gardens, and the list goes on.
Have a formal ceremony in the morning and a s’mores making session at night with all your friends and family at a place like Captain Whidbey.

- Website: Captain Whidbey
- Pricing: Starting at $36,000 (includes a $15,000 food and beverage minimum)

13. Mountain Springs Lodge

Mountain Springs Lodge is the kind of venue that was made for a full wedding weekend in the mountains.
Located just outside of Leavenworth, this wedding venue is a classic lodge with open fields and mountain views all around. It feels private without being hard to get to, which is always a win.
There are multiple cabins on-site for you and your guests, and a few different options for your ceremony and reception. The outdoor ceremony space with the mountains in the background is easily the highlight.
If youโre looking for a laid-back, mountain-style wedding where you can spend the weekend with your people, this is a really solid option.
- Location: Leavenworth

- Max capacity: 60 people (there are other packages for groups over 60)
14. Volunteer Park Conservatory

If youโre looking for a true micro wedding venue in Seattle, this one is hard to beat.
Volunteer Park Conservatory is a historic glass greenhouse right in the middle of the city, and it really does feel like a hidden gem. Inside, itโs filled with tropical plants, tons of natural light, and stays warm year-round, which makes it a really great option if youโre worried about weather.
The only catch is that itโs ceremony-only, so youโll need to plan a separate spot for dinner or a reception after.
- Location: Seattle
- Website: Volunteer Park Conservatory
- Pricing: $354 for 2-hour minimum ($177 each additional hour)
- Max capacity: 25 people
15. The Finery

The Finery is one of those venues that was made specifically for small weddings.
Located on Camano Island, this space is tucked away on a private property surrounded by trees and, in the best way, is really simple so you can dress it up or down as you wish.
What makes this place stand out is not only the pricing for everything you get, but how stupid easy they make everything. They offer all-inclusive elopement and micro-wedding packages that cover things like florals, dinner setup, cake, coordination, and more for a fraction of the cost of a traditional space alone.
Itโs also one of the few venues that really caps things at 50 guests, which keeps the whole experience feeling intentional.
- Location: Camano Island
- Website: The Finery
- Pricing: Starting at $2,695 and goes up to $6,995
- Max capacity: 50 people

You? You’re the kind of person that gets a lil’ teary eyed looking at an epic view…
That moment when you turn to the person youโre with and ask, โAre you seeing this?โ I live for it. Places with trees and mountains and soft breezes that make you say, โI canโt believe this place exists,โ I spend pretty much all of my free time searching for and exploring them.
These places have always felt like home to me. And if youโre the kind of person who also feels more at home surrounded by trees than by people? Then weโll get along really well.
